Alchemy of Sonic Arts is The Healing Arts Academy’s 2 day (10hr) Introduction to Sound Healing training taking place in beautiful Austin, TX.

Sound healing is the cosmic art that blends energy sciences, vibrational magic, and frequencies to support emotional, mental, physical, energetic, and vibrational wellness for all. Through sound, we can travel dimensions, receive messages and clarity, release what’s no longer needed, and find a home within ourselves again.

The benefits of sound healing are far deeper than what we can truly measure and are often used for nervous system regulation, activating theta waves to access subconscious pathways, emotional healing, reducing clinical effects like stress, anxiety, insomnia, and fatigue. Sounds healing supports initiating new neural pathways while helping folks deepen a spiritual connect to source and self.

Practitioner’s Certification Pathway

  • Who: This pathway is intended for healers, yoga teachers, and healing arts practitioners to develop and hone their skills to practice formally as a sound healer

  • 10 hour Curriculum through the science of sound, energy sciences, nervous system regulation, flow states, energy healing 101, entrainment, neuroacoustics, and study through relevant research with applied practice in sound healing facilitation.

  • Access to an online portal of resources, materials of study and worksheets, community, additional video trainings on setting up virtual sound baths

  • Alchemy of Sonic Arts manual and guidebook

  • Hands on practicum playing crystal singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, Tibetan bowls, and other healing instruments

  • Grounding and Energy Hygiene Practices

  • 5 principles of trauma-informed facilitation

  • Energy Healing 101

  • Introductory music theory

  • Entrainment, flow states, and brain waves

  • Anatomy of a sound bath

  • Developing your signature sound bath

    Certification requirements:

    • Completion of 2 day training hours & hands on practicum

    • Co-create 5 sound baths

  • Nope! This is perfect for the absolute beginner with no prior experience necessary.

  • This is the structure for the training:

    Each days is broken into lecture, discussion, and applied practice using a combination of crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, tuning forks. We’ll open our sessions with practitioner development.

  • You don’t need to own instruments for this training! You’ll have hands on practice on plenty of instruments from my personal tool-kit.

    You are welcomed to bring your own bowls and gongs, but let’s chat ahead of time.

    Bowls and gongs all have different tunings which may not work with the harmonies we’re working with.

    In each practice we’re doing something a little different so we might not be using each instrument each time. It’s a lot of carry back and forth!

    We’re also sticking to a curriculum of study for this training. There are hundreds of sound healing instruments and you might have instruments in your tool-kit which aren’t in our course of study. So…let’s chat ahead of time!

  • You can use this consult before our training begins, if you wish. You’ll of course learn more about your own practice as you go through the training and might shift your understanding of what instruments you want as you develop your signature sound bath.

    You’re welcomed to book additional consults with me at my normal rate after your initial one if you decide to redo a consult.

    There’s also no guarantee that items will arrive on time for the training! Fragile instruments often have longer shipping time and delays!

  • We can still consult and get you set up for when you’re ready to purchase your beautiful instruments!

    You can use your 1 hr consult with me up to 3 months of your graduation. This offer does not roll over past 3 months of your graduation date.

  • There are no make-up dates or additional instruction provided for missed attendance. For certification, both days are required.

  • So you have been swoooooned! You can use $150 of your workshop registration towards the certification pathway within 2 days of your workshop completion.

  • Alchemy of Sonic Arts: Practitioner’s Certification Pathway is curated to give you all you need to become a certified sound healer after your training.

    Level 2 might be offered for facilitators wanting to learn how to deepen their practices and expand offerings in a soul aligned way. We focus on breathing techniques, vocal toning, advanced meditation techniques, and integration practices.

    Pre-requisite: Completion for Alchemy of Sonic Arts: Practitioner’s Certification Pathway and required materials.

About your teacher

Shanila Sattar is a 4th generation sound healer, founder of The Healing Arts Academy, AlwaysPlay Studios, and Flow Breathwork Facilitator Training. She’s a best-selling author of Breathe, women’s researcher, national speaker, and host of a top 2% globally ranked podcast called: The Playground.

She is one of the first to receive grant funding to bring holistic healing arts to clinical populations such as women’s shelters, veterans legions, low socio-economic schools, and much more.
